Upon landing at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel, which is approximately 100 kilometers away. The afternoon is set aside for acclimatization to the high altitude of Lhasa, situated at 3,650 meters. The evening is free for you to relax and unwind, ensuring a comfortable adjustment to the new environment. You will spend the night at your hotel.

The day begins with a visit to the sacred Jokhang Temple, a central spiritual hub for Tibetan Buddhism. Following this, you will stroll through Bakhor Street, a lively marketplace encircling the temple. In the afternoon, you will explore Sera Monastery, renowned for its unique monk debating sessions held in the courtyard. The evening is free for leisure activities, and you will return to your hotel for the night.

Your morning will be spent touring the iconic Potala Palace, the former winter residence of the Dalai Lama and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, you will visit Drepung Monastery, historically the largest monastery in the world. After a day filled with exploring these significant landmarks, you will have the evening at your leisure and will stay overnight at your hotel.

This day is free for you to explore Lhasa at your own pace. You may choose to visit local markets, shop for souvenirs, or relax at a traditional Tibetan teahouse. This flexible day allows you to experience the city in a personalized manner. You will spend another night at your hotel.

In the morning, you will be transferred back to Lhasa Gonggar Airport, approximately 100 kilometers from the city, to catch your departure flight. This marks the end of your enriching 4-night, 5-day journey through Lhasa, with its blend of cultural, historical, and spiritual experiences.
