Begin your incredible Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek with your arrival in Kathmandu, where you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel for a restful night before your adventure starts. The following day, you'll take a scenic flight to Lukla, offering stunning views of the Himalayas, and start your trek to Phakding, passing through picturesque villages and lush forests. From Phakding, trek to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the high Himalayas, crossing suspension bridges and enjoying breathtaking landscapes. Spend a day acclimatizing in Namche with a hike to the Everest View Hotel and Khumjung Village, offering panoramic mountain views and a glimpse into Sherpa culture.

Continue your journey to Pangboche Village, visiting the famous Tengboche Monastery along the way. The highlight of the trek is the hike to Ama Dablam Base Camp, where you'll be surrounded by majestic peaks and stunning scenery. After exploring the base camp, return to Pangboche for an overnight stay. Detailed itinerary

Your Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek begins with your arrival in Kathmandu, the bustling capital city of Nepal. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take the day to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing about the trek, where you'll meet your guide and fellow trekkers.

Early in the morning, you'll catch a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small town nestled in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2,860 meters. The flight offers stunning views of the mountains and the landscape below. Upon arrival in Lukla, you'll start your trek towards Phakding, which is situated at an altitude of 2,610 meters. The trail winds through beautiful villages, lush forests, and alongside the Dudh Koshi River. After about 3-4 hours of trekking, you'll reach Phakding, where you'll spend the night in a teahouse.

After breakfast in Phakding, you'll continue your trek to Namche Bazaar, the famous Sherpa town and the gateway to the high Himalayas. The trail crosses several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River and passes through pine forests and small villages. After entering Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, the trail becomes steeper as you climb towards Namche Bazaar, located at an altitude of 3,440 meters. This part of the trek is challenging but rewarding, with spectacular views of Everest and other peaks. You'll reach Namche Bazaar after 6-7 hours of trekking and stay overnight in a teahouse.

To help your body adjust to the high altitude, you'll spend a day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar. In the morning, you'll go on an acclimatization hike to the Everest View Hotel, which offers panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other surrounding peaks. After enjoying the views, you'll continue to Khumjung Village, a traditional Sherpa village with a monastery that houses a purported Yeti scalp. You'll also visit the Hillary School, established by Sir Edmund Hillary. After exploring the village, you'll return to Namche Bazaar for the night.

Today's trek takes you to Pangboche Village, situated at an altitude of 3,985 meters. The trail ascends and descends through rhododendron forests, crosses the Imja Khola River, and passes through the village of Tengboche, where you'll visit the famous Tengboche Monastery. Continuing on, you'll trek through beautiful landscapes and eventually reach Pangboche, the highest year-round settlement in the region. The village offers breathtaking views of Ama Dablam. You'll spend the night in a teahouse in Pangboche.

Today is the highlight of your trek as you hike to the Ama Dablam Base Camp, located at an altitude of 4,590 meters. The trail from Pangboche to the base camp is challenging but rewarding, with stunning views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, and other peaks. Upon reaching the base camp, you'll have the opportunity to explore the area and enjoy the majestic surroundings. After spending some time at the base camp, you'll hike back to Pangboche for the night.

Leaving Pangboche, you'll trek towards Mong La, a small settlement perched on a hill at an altitude of 3,975 meters. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. You'll pass through rhododendron and pine forests, and cross several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Mong La is known for its tranquility and stunning vistas. After 5-6 hours of trekking, you'll reach Mong La and stay overnight in a teahouse.

Today's trek takes you to Monjo, a village located at an altitude of 2,835 meters. The trail descends through forests and villages, passing through Namche Bazaar once again. From Namche, you'll continue downhill, crossing the Dudh Koshi River multiple times on suspension bridges. You'll pass through the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsalle before arriving in Monjo. After 5-6 hours of trekking, you'll reach Monjo and stay overnight in a teahouse.

On the final day of your trek, you'll hike back to Lukla. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, passing through Phakding and other small villages. You'll enjoy the lush green scenery and the sound of the river as you make your way back. After about 5-6 hours of trekking, you'll reach Lukla, where you'll spend the night in a teahouse. This is your last night in the mountains, so take the time to celebrate your successful trek with your group.

In the morning, you'll take a flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. The flight offers one last chance to enjoy the stunning Himalayan views. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city, do some shopping, or relax. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner to celebrate the completion of your trek.

Your Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek concludes today. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time in Kathmandu for last-minute sightseeing or shopping.
