Continue your journey to Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, where you will acclimatize and enjoy panoramic views of Everest and other towering peaks from the Everest View Hotel and Khumjung village.

As you ascend, trek to the serene village of Dole, and then onwards to Machhermo, where the landscape transforms into a more rugged and remote environment. Your next destination is the stunning Gokyo Lake, where the turquoise waters reflect the surrounding snow-capped peaks, creating a surreal and breathtaking setting.

Hike to the summit of Gokyo Ri for one of the most spectacular panoramic views in the Everest region, encompassing Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Welcome to Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal! Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take this day to rest, acclimate, and explore the bustling streets, historic temples, and cultural landmarks of Kathmandu. Prepare yourself for the adventure that lies ahead in the Everest region.

After an early breakfast, you will take a thrilling flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. The short flight offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival in Lukla, you will begin your trek to Phakding. The trail descends through lush forests, small villages, and picturesque landscapes. After a leisurely three-hour trek, you will reach Phakding, where you will spend the night.

Today's trek takes you from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. As you ascend, you'll pass through beautiful pine forests and traditional Sherpa villages. After a challenging climb, you'll reach Namche Bazaar, a bustling market town with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

To acclimatize to the higher altitude, you'll spend the day hiking around Namche Bazaar. A popular acclimatization hike is to the Everest View Hotel, which offers spectacular panoramic views of Everest and other peaks. You can also visit Khumjung village, home to the famous Hillary School and a beautiful monastery. This day allows you to explore the local culture and prepare for the higher elevations ahead.

Leaving Namche, the trail ascends towards Dole, a small village situated at 4,210 meters. The path takes you through rhododendron and juniper forests, with occasional sightings of wildlife like musk deer and pheasants. Today's trek from Dole to Machhermo is approximately five hours. The trail gradually ascends, offering stunning views of Cho Oyu and other peaks. You'll pass through small settlements and yak pastures, experiencing the remote beauty of the region. Machhermo, located at 4,400 meters, is a small village where you'll spend the night, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.

The trek from Machhermo to Gokyo Lake is a four-hour journey through alpine landscapes. As you approach Gokyo, the pristine blue lakes surrounded by towering peaks create a surreal and stunning setting. Gokyo Lake, situated at 4,700 meters, is one of the highlights of the trek, offering a serene and picturesque environment for rest and exploration.

An early morning hike to Gokyo Ri, standing at 5,360 meters, offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the Everest region. The challenging ascent is rewarded with stunning vistas of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Retracing your steps, you'll trek back to Dole, a seven-hour journey through the beautiful landscapes you traversed earlier.
